Sunday Find {Pink Lemonade}
parties, sunday findsParty planners rejoice! I stumbled across the sweetest pink lemonade bottles the other day in my local Leo’s Supermarket.
These sweet Hansi Pink Limonade bottles would look gorgeous on a party table, they are also available in traditional, lemon and blood orange, and the label graphics are divine.
Don’t have a Leo’s I hear you say? Pop on over to the gorgeous Raw Materials website to find out where to buy.
A Little Request {please}
the restWe have some exciting things happening at Alannah Rose in the next couple of weeks. All I’m saying right now is New.
Sooo, I need to update a few things, dot my i’s cross my t’s, and google is not playing nice (or the fact that my technical issues this week have extended to everything), so here is my request.
Above: Digital Print by Sew Saucy Stitches
I know so many of you have linked to me, posted my parties over the last five years, for that I thank you so much. I always try to say thank you for those I know of, and add you to my blogroll.
If you have me in your blog roll – and I have not (and I”m so sorry I haven’t!) added you into mine yet, can you please comment below or email me?
Likewise, if you have featured one of our parties and I haven’t spoken or emailed you this week, could you please do the same with a link to the party? A lot of you I know of, but I just want to make sure I haven’t missed anyone. I’ll be making some requests for ‘as featured on banners’ from you!
thanks so much everyone – and always for your support of our business, it means so much! x
{thank you!}
Alannah Rose {wedding} ~ Amanda & Daniel ~ Le Boutique Wedding Invitations
alannah rose weddings, weddingsFirstly, apologies for my posts being a little sporadic at present – I promise there are good things on the way. Let’s just say we’re in the midst of renovating so to speak. Exciting!
Today’s post is a gorgeous client wedding, it’s not hard to guess which wedding stationery Amanda and Daniel chose – just look at those gorgeous black and white striped walls! (hint: le boutique!)
Amanda and Daniel were married at the gorgeous Bellachara Boutique Hotel in Gerringong NSW on the 19th February this year. The theme of the wedding was classic and glamorous. A basic black and white colour palette was used with splashes of pastel pinks/nudes & creams in the flowers & bridesmaids dresses.
A favourite part of the day for Amanda was getting ready with her bridesmaids and parents, the striped walls of the venue made a perfect backdrop for the getting ready photos and tied in with the black and white wedding invitations by Alannah Rose.
“The Le Boutique stationery range was perfect for our wedding, our venue has black & white striped feature walls and they matched the invitations perfectly. Suzi was so lovely to deal with and took a genuine interest in our wedding planning!” says Amanda
Amanda was thrilled with her make up by Christina Cleary“I literally gasped when I saw the makeup on the day, it was flawless”.
The beautiful rose bouquets were created by close friend Rochelle at Wedding Flowers1
For Daniel, seeing Amanda walk down the aisle was one of the highlights of the day.
The cake, by long time friend Cassie at Cakes by Cassie was a stunning three tier round cake with two tiers White Chocolate & Raspberry (Amanda’s favourite) and one tier Chocolate Mud (Dan’s favourite).
Photography by Luisa at Serendipity Corner Photography “Luisa was an absolute pleasure to deal with and we have an amazing collection of photos from the day”.
On making your wedding day perfect Amanda advises: “Be organized as it makes everything run so smoothly & don’t stress. Sit back and enjoy the whole process, from planning it all to relaxing on the morning of the wedding as it’s all part of the memories you will have of the day. Everyone kept saying to me on the day “I can’t believe you are so calm” but it really set the mood for the whole wedding, everyone was relaxed and having fun and not one thing went wrong – not that I noticed anyway!”
Congratulations Amanda and Daniel, thanks so much for sharing your day with us. xx

Magical {mauve} Moments
inspiration boards, weddingsA pretty wedding in shades of purple today! The colour of royalty, this style suits any time of year. In winter, use darker shades in your colour palette to draw on the rich warmth of your event. Spring and summer call for more mauves and lilacs with little tiny touches of inky purples.
For today’s wedding inspiration board, we went for a formal, elegant look. We mixed and matched lots of purples- just like our Mauve On Monday Wedding Invitation. We love the look of different shades of the one colour coming together! Of course, the perfect venue for this event would be surrounded by fields of lavender blooms!

Regal {rose}
alannah rose new designs, inspiration boards, weddingsOur bold new Cartouche Rose wedding invitation is the perfect style for a vintage, regal inspired wedding.
Lots of lace to reflect the rich floral pattern on the invitation- echoed into even the smallest elements like the wedding cake and the almost Victorian feel of the wedding gown. This invitation style is no wallflower, so to avoid the look becoming too pretty, add in some bold elements like a beautiful pair of black shoes and accessories. Decorate your reception with rich black chandeliers and plenty of gold!

Sunday Find {Waterproof Parasols}
sunday finds, the rest, weddingsIt is pouring in Melbourne and across Victoria today, and the forecast is for more this week. Whilst it’s said to be good luck for rain on your wedding day, no one wants to get wet! These pretty parasols from Pink Frosting are both waterproof and elegant, perfect for our unpredictable spring weather.
Fly Fly Away {first birthday inspiration}
inspiration boards, partiesFirst birthday parties are inherently special- filled with the baby innocence and the relief of parents surviving the sometimes harrowing first year. Our take on a first birthday party is always perfectly sweet with a few special touches.
This party (inspired by our One Little La La Plane Party Invitation) centers around that boyhood wonder- the airplane. Softly swaying planes hang from the ceiling, clouds decorate the wall, sugary sweet cupcakes with flags and handmade wooden airplanes for guests to take home. Along with cupcakes serve treats like popcorn, fairy floss, milk with brightly striped paper straws, soft squishy marshmallows and plenty of champagne for the adults!

Lush {lily}
inspiration boards, weddingsI don’t think the lily with it’s vibrant pinks and white will ever go out of style for a wedding! Today’s inspiration comes from the Lily Blush Wedding Invitation.
