Spooky {spider} Party

October is the month for all things spooky, with the Halloween season right around the corner, we thought our Spooky Spider Invitation and new matching Spooky Spider gift tags are just the ticket for your own spooky after dark party this month!

There’s no reason a spooky party needs to be limited to children- especially when there are such delicious treats like spooky cocktails, midnight treats and perfectly spooky costumes to play with! Why not throw a midnight spooky spider party with your friends? Make it a dress up theme and light the room with only the flickering of candle light. Serve spooky treats and don’t forget the cocktails!

My My My, What A {lovely} day

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and birds tweeting. Today seemed the perfect day to get inspired by our What A Lovely Day Wedding Invitation!

Envisage a garden party, high tea served from tiered stands with pretty china tea cups, the fresh green grass under bare feet and pretty spring dresses. A table of sweets all in white and pretty lace parasols shading guests from the warm sunlight. Bouquets of daisies and a mischievous rabbit poking out from behind a tree. A touch of whimsy always goes down a treat at a wedding!

Wedding Inspiration { vintage soft grey }

I’ve been sifting through my files this week and found this inspiration board I created as a guest piece for Style Collective a while ago. I still love it, grey is so soft, pretty and warm, brighten it with a touch of yellow and you’ve got a sophisticated and elegant colour palette for your wedding day.

Nothing quite says childhood like an old fashioned carousel- our Take Me To The Fair party invitation conjures up thoughts of fairy floss, ferris wheels and all the naughty food you shouldn’t eat but is so wonderful for little eyes to feast upon!

For little girls, keep your colour palette in soft pastel stripes- lots of pinks, lilacs, soft blues and lemon yellows. Serve your favourite old fashioned treats in carnival style containers and decorate with beautifully created musical carousels.

I love the bold shades of aqua and emerald in our Emerald Gem invitation. Today’s board centers around that boldness- clean, crisp lines, bold shapes with a very urban feel. Little treats like blue glass jars tied with ribbons and filled with candles add an unexpected softness.

Birdie {baby shower}

There’s nothing we love more than celebrating a brand new baby and we think our Hatching Soon Baby Shower Invitation has just the right amount of cluck, cluck cluckiness for any mum to be!

A birdie theme is just right for a baby shower, the promise of sweet new things to come! Sweet treats like cupcakes are a must (and we think a bottle of perfect pink bubbles for the guests is a necessary accompaniment!) and sugared almonds in twig nests echo our birdie and egg theme. Pretty garlands strung from the rafters look perfect blowing in the breeze and our La La Bird Pocket Mirrors are the perfect gift for games or to share with your guests as a token of appreciation!
