In the Australian print industry, the acronym “gsm“, which stands for “grams per square meter”, is used as a measure of paper thickness and quality. Generally speaking, the higher the gsm, the heavier and thicker the paper. As a guide:
This paper weight is classified as card stock. Premium business cards and high quality invitations are printed on this paper thickness.
