We’re celebrating a special milestone this week. It’s our 4th Birthday!
On October 1 2005 we officially pushed the ‘go’ button on our website and went live. Time has flown and I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride, so thank you to our gorgeous clients, lovely friends, retailers, suppliers and my fabulous family for your continued support and for making what I do each day so thoroughly enjoyable.
This year we have grand plans for bigger and better things, so stay tuned, I can’t wait to share it all with you.

…for a party that’s a blast!
Today’s post is inspired by the ever so talented Amy Atlas. Last week she hosted a space party for her 5 year old son, below are some images of the gorgeous details she created, you’ll find more images from the party on Amy’s blog.

Images above from Amy Atlas – also see here for instructions on how to make papier mache planet decorations.
A space theme party is such a great theme for boys, our Ready Red Rocket party invitations and rocket party tags are a perfect starter for this theme.

Other things you can tie it in with include;

Paper Rocket Garland by Paperklip

Rocket Cookie Cutter – (make delicious cookies and place in cello bags for a great take home favour – see Amy Atlas images top)

Space Cadet Suit for those budding space travellers

Personalised Rocket T-Shirt for the birthday boy

It was a gorgeous day in Melbourne today, just perfect for a stroll down High Street in Armadale.
I was thrilled to see my new ‘baby’ down there today – Function Accessories has a gorgeous window display of our new children’s invitation range.

I just love the way they’ve styled it – the classic white chairs, the tulips, pretty boxes with ribbon and the vase wrapped in fabric – all simple and gorgeous ideas for styling your own party.
My vision when designing the children’s invitation range was that the elements of a party don’t need to be all matchy matchy, the colours and patterns can theme in with any number of ready available items – the invitations are a starting point for your creativity! Function Accessories have captured just that in their window display.

If you’re in Melbourne, make sure you head down to Function Accessories and see Paul and Jill to discuss your children’s party styling requirements.

Little boys love scary things, things like spiders, slugs, snails… eek!
That’s why they’ll love our new Spooky Spider Party invitations.
Creating a spooky spider party theme is easy – use red, black and brown as your colour palette, and think of things that are icky! Red snakes, chocolate frogs, green slime (jelly), decorate with cobwebs (sourced from costume shops), red and black balloons or lanterns (like the one’s pictured below), hang fake spiders from the ceiling using fishing line, the list goes on!

I came across the most gorgeous polka dot bunting today, perfect to go with a party themed around our new circus invitations.

Available through Giggleberry Designs on etsy. The great thing about fabric bunting is you can use it for the party, then hang it in your child’s bedroom, playroom etc, and then use it again for the next party!
They also do custom bunting, so if you were trying to achieve something more like what we’ve used in our photoshoot below, I’m sure they could oblige.
