Today’s wedding, centered around our Sweet Serenade Wedding Invitation is a classic one. Pearls, beautiful fluffy bouquets and the soft touches of pinks. Classic elegance never goes out of style with accents like silver candlesticks and simple, textured white cakes.

Simply sweet is a garden wedding based on our new  Rose Kiss Wedding invitation. Shades of peach, pink and cream give a big old fashioned feel to the wedding which is classic and romantic.

The Alannah Rose Chocolate Box wedding invitation holds a special place in my heart- it was one of our first designs and I believe it stands the test of time! It brings together the elegant stripes, a flair of vintage lace and one of my favourite colour combinations- brown and blue. Today’s board is the elegant classic take on this style- classic chocolate cakes (but with a twist of cocoa monograms), a classic ballgown (with sweet butterflies attached) a classic bouquet (with beautiful blue ribbon) and a classic pearl necklace (with a sparkling clasp).

Welcome back to part two of Rebecca and Kale’s gorgeous Perth wedding! I just love how Rebecca has brought the Old Hollywood style to her look while still keeping it relaxed and beautiful!

Such sweet personal details x “We each gave our Mum a necklace on the morning of the wedding, and then as a surprise had our Mums as the witnesses on our marriage certificate. We also had a picture of our parents on their wedding days on either side of our wedding cake to recognise where we had come from and to thank our parents for all that they had done for us.”

“Our good friend Emma, who is a chef, made our wedding cake and Kale’s work mate Tracey created our wedding flowers. The cake and flowers were so beautiful, and we were so touched that our friends put so much effort in for our wedding. It was really special.” says Rebecca “I bought so many things on Etsy for the wedding, and loved having little packages arrive every week full of all sorts of different handmade things. Our cake topper was from busybeesathome, mine and the bridesmaids earrings were from BridalBeads and the name tags which sat on the wine glasses were from TimelessPaper. Just to name a few of our Etsy finds!”

Rebecca and Kale’s wedding day ends with some wise words “I think the most important thing is the marriage, and the wedding day should be a big celebration of that. If I ever felt overwhelmed by the wedding plans I would remember that, and think well as long as my fiance, the celebrant and our family and friends are there  it doesn’t really matter what else happens, because that is all that’s important.” Rebecca advises “So try and relax and enjoy the journey, because it really does go very fast.”

Our black and white Le Boutique wedding invitation is still one of my favourite designs. Something about the bold black and white stripes almost turns into a neutral, elegant accent at a wedding.

This wedding inspiration board plays off the stripes, instead of hiding them and is filled with stripey accents, from the groom’s tie to the ribbon around the bouquet and modern shapes (like the black Louis Ghost chair). Sometimes I like to play up the detail!

Amy and Jeremy held their outdoor ceremony at Matilda Bay Reserve under the beautiful big trees. Amy even had the motif from our Hollywood Glamour invitation printed onto the couple’s aisle runner!

After the couple were pronounced as newlyweds, they celebrated with guests in a Villa Kula silk lined marquee organised and styled by one of our favourite wedding planners Cathrin D’Entremont. Amongst centerpieces of pink and cream flowers and an all white candy buffet, the reception featured favors of homemade marmalade in heart shaped jars, Amy and Jeremy used our Hollywood Glamour menu card and Hollywood Glamour seating chart to complete the look.

Happy Valentines Day! There’s nothing like the colour combination of red and pink like we have used in our Love Potion Invitation to have us swooning over all things romantic. Soften the bold lines with fluffy flowers and sweet beading on your gown.

It’s a rare lady that isn’t swayed by the style of a little blue box. Our Tiffany Be Mine Invitation is a nod to our love of all things white and blue. Today I’m inspired by a breakfast celebration to echo the sentiments of a nostalgic era.

The groom and his men were dressed in black suits from Raffaele Cicua while the bridesmaids wore midnight blue gowns from Swish Chapel St.

Above: Lisa hired Al from the Donna Aston Fitness Como Centre to “Whip me into shape!” The couple had photos taken with their bridal party around the Werribee Mansion with their photographer Tanya Savage.

Above: Lisa and Jack loved their reception venue “Donah & Terry at Werribee Park Reception Centre for a magical venue & the best food for miles” The couple hired The Baker Boys to keep guests entertained and spent their wedding night at the Mansion Hotel for accommodation. Alannah Rose ‘Fancy Face’ table numbers completed the table settings.

There’s nothing quite like fresh blooms for a wedding and our Heavenly Hydrangea invitation is just the ticket for a floral celebration! Soften the black by using lots of different shades of the hydrangea purple, sweet treats and pretty floral details.

I love the bold shades of aqua and emerald in our Emerald Gem invitation. Today’s board centers around that boldness- clean, crisp lines, bold shapes with a very urban feel. Little treats like blue glass jars tied with ribbons and filled with candles add an unexpected softness.

A pretty wedding in shades of purple today! The colour of royalty, this style suits any time of year. In winter, use darker shades in your colour palette to draw on the rich warmth of your event. Spring and summer call for more mauves and lilacs with little tiny touches of inky purples.

For today’s wedding inspiration board, we went for a formal, elegant look. We mixed and matched lots of purples- just like our Mauve On Monday Wedding Invitation. We love the look of different shades of the one colour coming together! Of course, the perfect venue for this event would be surrounded by fields of lavender blooms!
