I posted a while ago about Michi Girls first Book ‘Like I give a Frock’ so I’m excited to share with you today the news that it’s companion ‘What on Earth are you Wearing‘ has just been released. Just in time for Christmas, this little book is a perfect gift for your girlfriends, bridesmaids, sisters or even yourself. Michi’s take on fashion is hilariously funny and the illustrations divine. Get it at Michi’s online shop here, or selected booksellers.

Last Sunday I attended the gorgeous gallery opening for Little Bird Photography. Pru held little high tea to celebrate her sweet new gallery. It was a lovely afternoon and I was very taken with the sweet vintage tea cups and tableware she hired from A Vintage Affair.

We’ve had bit of a drought in Australia the last few years, and I’m not talking about water! Finding a pretty footed cake stand on our shores has proven to me time and time again to be a difficult chore, so I was thrilled when I found these gorgeous square scalloped cake stands at Sharnel Dollar Designs. I haven’t bought one yet, but am oh so tempted!

It’s racing season in Melbourne, which generally means spring weather and sunshine right? Well not if today is anything to go by, 14 and rain…. so if you’ve got a few races to attend it might be smart to have a warmer option on hand. I love this feathered cloche from Anthropologie, smart, chic and a little more suited to wild gusty winds….

Don’t forget this time of year is also perfect to look for bridesmaid outfits as the stores have all of their gorgeous wares out for the racing season.

I stumbled across these pretty little baskets in Home & Abroad, South Yarra.
I thought these little baskets would be perfect for party favour bags and table decorations. Try putting a small vase or glass inside each one and fill with pretty flowers for a chic table centrepiece to match the favours…

You thought I was looking for fashion advice didn’t you! But I bet you didn’t think I’d be getting it from a bunny….

Today’s find is the ever so fashionable book – What Shall I Wear Today? by Fifi Lapin.

Fifi Lapin packshot 2 Sunday Find {What shall I wear today?}

For those not familiar with Fifi Lapin, head on over here to her blog.

According to Elle Magazine, Fifi Lapin “is the world’s most stylish bunny”. And who’s to argue? She’s graced the pages of Vogue, attends all of THE runway shows and has a wardrobe that even Sex in the City’s Carrie would envy. Just take a look at this Marni outfit….

A confession today. I’ve only just recently figured out how to use google reader. I know. Shocking.

So up until now browsing and keeping up with all the beautiful blogs out there has been a bit of a time consuming process for me, and one to be honest, I haven’t had a lot of time to do. But, now, well it’s so much easier and I’m loving all the fabulous new blogs I can now find and read easily, every day.

This weeks find is Green Wedding Shoes, a gorgeous wedding blog featuring all things wedding. I can’t stop looking at this Circus engagement shoot they’ve featured this week shot by Brandon Kid (who also has a new blog) and styled by Nancy Park of So Happi Together.

How amazing is the typography of the circus props, the colours, the mood, the styling, everything, and what a fabulous way to celebrate and remember your engagement.

Today I spent a lovely afternoon with the gorgeous Siobhan and Vanessa from Details Details and Prue from Gigi & Lulu at Nest in Albert Park. A perfect way to get together to celebrate and remember Ava.

xfoxs4 Sunday Find ~ Or A {delightful} Way To Spend A Sunday

Nest is a fabulous little hotel, decked out in black and white, with black chandeliers and white bird cages. On Sunday’s they offer a Vintage High Tea – and it’s delightful. The chicken sandwiches and chocolate cake were my favourites, but it was all delicious.

They have a great space perfect for any type of function, including weddings, baby showers and hen’s days. Now just to figure out what function I can have there just to use the space….

And don’t forget, if you’re planning on hosting a Tea Party, you’ll need invitations… head over to the Beauty-Full Collection for the month of August. All invitations in the range have been designed in memory of Ava and are available for $10.00. 100% of the cost going to charity.
