Here we are back with more photo’s from Lexi and Will’s wedding taken by their photographer Dan O’Day. “We had some breathtaking shots taken around the rural landscape of Gundaroo. The colours were amazingly vivid, with a late afternoon storm providing a gorgeous backdrop.”
Lexi and Will held their reception in the stone stable & marquee on the property and used Flowers from the Garden for their flowers. “Gerry was an absolute dream to work with – the peonies for my bouquet were sourced from Melbourne at the last minute, and the green and white bouquets for the girls were exactly what I wanted! She also did a fabulous job filling our crystal vases, jars and bottles which we used for our centrepieces.”

“Will and I wanted our day to be unique, personal and memorable – for both ourselves and the guests. Many hours were spent creating handmade pinwheels (for our non traditional take on a seating chart) paper poms and bunting to brighten the reception. We opted for a Wedding Tree instead of a guest book, so our friends and family could “leaf” their thumb print and sign their name!”

Today’s client wedding is the gorgeous summer time celebration of Lexi and Will. Lexi and Will held their wedding outside Canberra in November last year and used the Alannah Rose Lime Tapestry wedding invitation suite to begin their day! Today’s wedding will be in two parts- there are so many lovely photos to show!
“I’d describe our wedding as Springtime Shabby Chic - we carried the colours of spring green, latte, ivory and soft pastels throughout the wedding, with eclectic and sweet touches.” says Lexi. The couple were married at ‘Grazing’, Gundaroo NSW “The ceremony was held in the gardens with the reception in the stone stable/garden marquee”

For her wedding day, Lexi wore a Demetrios dress purchased from Nouveau Riche,. She chose Alan Pinkus shoes as her “Something Blue”. “I loved seeing the smile on my soon to be husbands face as I walked down the aisle, and a moment we stole alone during our location photos, where we finally had a moment to stop and say “wow, we really did this.. we’re married!“”

“Take a deep breath, don’t let little things trouble you and have fun! The day will pass by so quickly, and weddings filled with smiles and laughter always make the most wonderful memories. Little things may not go 100% according to plan (like the weather!) but in the big picture, it doesn’t matter.”
Lexi and Will chose Dan O’Day to be their photographer- check back this afternoon, we’ll be sharing more of his photographs of Lexi and Will’s wedding day!

Welcome back to part two of Rebecca and Kale’s gorgeous Perth wedding! I just love how Rebecca has brought the Old Hollywood style to her look while still keeping it relaxed and beautiful!
Such sweet personal details x “We each gave our Mum a necklace on the morning of the wedding, and then as a surprise had our Mums as the witnesses on our marriage certificate. We also had a picture of our parents on their wedding days on either side of our wedding cake to recognise where we had come from and to thank our parents for all that they had done for us.”

“Our good friend Emma, who is a chef, made our wedding cake and Kale’s work mate Tracey created our wedding flowers. The cake and flowers were so beautiful, and we were so touched that our friends put so much effort in for our wedding. It was really special.” says Rebecca “I bought so many things on Etsy for the wedding, and loved having little packages arrive every week full of all sorts of different handmade things. Our cake topper was from busybeesathome, mine and the bridesmaids earrings were from BridalBeads and the name tags which sat on the wine glasses were from TimelessPaper. Just to name a few of our Etsy finds!”

Rebecca and Kale’s wedding day ends with some wise words “I think the most important thing is the marriage, and the wedding day should be a big celebration of that. If I ever felt overwhelmed by the wedding plans I would remember that, and think well as long as my fiance, the celebrant and our family and friends are there it doesn’t really matter what else happens, because that is all that’s important.” Rebecca advises “So try and relax and enjoy the journey, because it really does go very fast.”
Congratulations Rebecca and Kale, thanks so much for sharing your day with us.

We love our creative clients at Alannah Rose Stationery and we’re always in awe of their beautiful weddings! Today’s client wedding is of Rebecca and Kale who married at the Matilda Bay Foreshore In Perth and used the Alannah Rose Chantilly Chandelier invitation in latte to start their wedding style.
“We wanted our wedding to be elegant, but not too formal, so we tried to bring in elements that would help create that atmosphere. The theme we went for was a hint of old Hollywood.” says Rebecca “I love stationery, so one of the first things we picked for the wedding was our invitations. We decided early on the Chantilly Chandelier Latte stationery by Alannah Rose. Once we had picked the latte colour everything else just came together. We found gorgeous bridesmaids dresses in that colour and then selected flowers, decor etc to compliment it.”
Rebecca and Kale had their wedding photographs taken by Anna Rose Photography.

“I loved my dress, which was from Pallas Couture. I have really individual taste, and couldn’t see myself in a traditional wedding dress. The girls at Pallas really listened to what I was after and created such a beautiful gown. I just loved it and felt so comfortable and glamorous in it on the day. My shoes were by Christian Louboutin, which I bought online from Net-a-porter..”

“My favourite part of the day was the wedding ceremony. My Dad had been really sick in hospital just 6 weeks earlier, I remember standing there with Kale and looking out at our family and friends and feeling so blessed that they could all be there to share the moment.”
Check back later today for the rest of Rebecca and Kale’s gorgeous wedding!

Amy and Jeremy held their outdoor ceremony at Matilda Bay Reserve under the beautiful big trees. Amy even had the motif from our Hollywood Glamour invitation printed onto the couple’s aisle runner!

After the couple were pronounced as newlyweds, they celebrated with guests in a Villa Kula silk lined marquee organised and styled by one of our favourite wedding planners Cathrin D’Entremont. Amongst centerpieces of pink and cream flowers and an all white candy buffet, the reception featured favors of homemade marmalade in heart shaped jars, Amy and Jeremy used our Hollywood Glamour menu card and Hollywood Glamour seating chart to complete the look.

Thank you Amy and Jeremy for sharing your beautiful wedding day with us! We are so honoured to have been a part of such a beautiful day xx

I’ve been wanting to share the stunning Perth wedding of Amy and Jeremy for such a long time with you. Amy and Jeremy ordered our Hollywood Glamour wedding Invitation in custom silver, and I love how they used it throughout their wedding day- from the first invitation to the reception, the combination of the silver with the soft muted pinks and creams is so beautiful!
Amy wore a ruffly Oscar De La Renta ball gown from Helen Rodrigues with Wittner ruffle shoes. Rebecca Grace of Natural Art created the bouquets and floral arrangements in shades of dusty pink, creams and whites.

Amy and Jeremy had a “first look” before the ceremony so they could celebrate with their guests right after the ceremony. Love this idea x Amy and Jeremy used the incredibly talented Natasja Kremers for their wedding photography with Jen from Anna Rose Photography assisting.

Check back later today- we have more of Amy and Jeremy’s stunning Perth wedding!

Today’s real wedding is the elegant & sophisticated celebration of our beautiful clients Camilla and Mark who married on the 18th of October 2009 in Noosa, Queensland.
The relaxed outdoor feel of Camilla and Mark’s wedding fit right into the Noosa culture- the sun was shining and amidst all of our couple’s special touches, a momentous occasion was celebrated. What fun!
Camilla and Mark chose our Vintage Night invitation in custom latte- they also chose our complimentary stationery suite and used the delicate swirls and soft colours as the basis of their wedding theme! Camilla recounts “Not only did we have Alannah Rose Save The Dates, Invitations, Guest Info Cards, RSVP postcards, Place Cards, Table Names, Order of Service Books and Thank you cards but we incorporated the same colour and design throughout the whole wedding”
There are so many beautiful photos of today’s wedding I can’t fit them into one post!

Above: Our Vintage Night invitation in custom latte to compliment the elegant mood of their wedding. “The stationery had a big part in creating the theme and the style of the wedding. We had the same colours and design through from the Save the Dates to the decor at the ceremony and reception and then the Thank You cards.” says Camilla “The stationery helped create the finer details that made our wedding such a stand out.”
Camilla chose an elegant strapless ball gown from Mariana Hardwick while her bridesmaids wore gowns in shades of white from Ultra Suite.

Above: Our newlyweds were married at Hidden Grove just outside Noosa
“One of my favourite parts of the day was walking through the trees near the beach to a clearing where the ceremony was set up. The area had been decorated beautifully with crystals and ribbons with roses hanging from the trees, the ground was a sea of white rose petals and the anticipation of seeing my husband-to-be was overwhelming. It was surreal like a dream and although I was very emotional the scene before me took my breath away. I cried the whole way down the aisle, my husband shed a few tears watching me and I’m pretty sure all the guests were crying too. It was very heartfelt.” recalls Camilla.
Bella of Bella Designs & Imagery captured the special moments of the wedding day.
The colours of Camilla and Mark were echoed throughout the wedding with Camilla making a welcome board featuring their stationery design and even printing the wedding vows onto matching paper. The couple also ordered co-ordinating order of service books in our Hollywood Glamour design as an added touch.

To be continued…. more of Camilla and Mark’s beautiful Noosa wedding coming this afternoon xx

It’s so lovely to share our Alannah Rose real weddings with you!
Today’s is very special- the Queensland wedding of Megan and Mark who chose our Rose Tapestry invitation suite in custom blue. The soft cornflower blue was the perfect fit for the French country style wedding Megan and Mark planned.
When I asked Megan her number one tip for brides she said “Don’t blink on your wedding day – it goes far too quickly! Enjoy every minute of it!”

Above: The couple chose the Alannah Rose Rose Tapestry invitation suite in a custom blue. “The beautiful stationery from Alannah Rose was a big hit! We were so excited when we received our invitations – we were absolutely delighted with them. The matching invitations, service covers, menu covers and place cards really helped to create the theme and mood for the day and we received so many lovely comments on them. A lot of people commented on how they thought they were a lovely mix of classic, yet modern style” says Megan

Above: The country style bouquets were created by Geraldine of Bouquet Boutique in New Farm.

Photographer Cory Rossiter captured the photographs for the day. “We loved the natural look of the photos when we saw them – he really captured the essence and fun of the day. ” Megan remarked.

Stanthorpe Uniting Church was the venue for one of Megan’s lasting wedding day memories “I loved walking back down the aisle of the church to Eva Cassidy’s “At Last” after we were married and greeting all our family and friends. ” All the music on Megan and Mark’s wedding ceremony was performed by family & friends.

Above: Megan and Mark held their reception at Giardino Café. Giardino means “little farm or garden” in Italian and Kristy from the cafe helped style the wedding features. “We discussed with Kristy that we wanted to create a romantic, French country style atmosphere with lots of white flowers in tall vases and candles filling the tables.” says Megan. “She arranged everything and did such a beautiful job. We were absolutely delighted when we walked into the reception – it was so much more lovely than we had even imagined!”.
The beautiful wedding cake made a two hour journey from Toowoomba with it’s creator Robin Friedrichs who made sure the cake arrived intact!

The wedding was filmed by Megan’s uncle “My uncle Brett did the videography of the day for us. We were not going to worry about a video, when my uncle volunteered to do it for us.” says Megan “He did an amazing job and we are so glad to have the video now as a keepsake. It was great fun to be able to see the parts you weren’t there for – e.g. the groomsmen getting ready and then waiting at the church, the music at the church before we arrived etc. It will also be hilarious to watch in 20 years time I’m sure! “

Thanks so much Megan and Mark for sharing your wedding day with us x

Today’s beautiful client wedding is of Rachael and Drew. Rachael and Drew were married in Sts Peter & Paul Church in South Melbourne, followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom at The Royce Hotel, St Kilda Road Melbourne. Rachael and Drew have two gorgeous boys which they involved in the wedding celebrations, take a look at little Jonty on his trike – awww!
Rachael and Drew chose our Latte Lace wedding invitations which fitted well with the art deco style of Rachael’s Gown and the Reception venue.

Above: Rachael’s stunning gown was created by Mariana Hardwick; Hair & Make-up by Lady Belle Rouge “absolutely fantastic girls” says Rachael; Flowers by Function Accessories Brunswick

“My favourite part of the day was the ceremony.” says Rachael “We live together with our two boys, so we had our 4 year old ride his trike down the aisle first with the ring cushion in the back tray, (definitely an awww moment for our friends, and a teary one for our parents!) then Drew walked down, and I followed holding Benjamin’s (17 months old) hand. It was beautiful.”

“Fr Bob did a great service and had most people laughing and feeling at ease. It was a real family ceremony in that the boys did what they had to do on the official side then they were free to walk around during the service. It was very relaxed and made the guests feel relaxed too. We arrived early and had to wait on the road outside the Church to allow everyone to go in. Even when we got out and were assembling at the entrance, guests were still arriving behind us. The weather was a perfect 20 degrees.” says Rachael

“We put aside the old tradition on not seeing each other before the ceremony and stayed the night before in our suite at the hotel. We had a lovely quiet dinner together in a little restaurant down the road, got to bed early and had a good night sleep. We got dressed together and had fun with it. It really relaxed us. We loved that we got that extra time (in the morning and before the ceremony) by ourselves together, it was our day and we got to enjoy a lot of time to ourselves to soak that up. We also got to have our photos together before the wedding instead of after the ceremony, to allow us extra time to sit in our suite before the reception to gather & refresh ourselves.”

The wedding photos were taken by Boxer Wedding Photography, locations included the suite at the Royce, the Victoria Barracks on St Kilda Road and at the Church.

Above: Cake by House of Elegant Cakes, Bomboniere – Donation to the Cancer Council of Victoria, Entertainment (MC & DJ – Black Tie Events), Table settings – Function Accessories Armadale.

Congratulations Rachael and Drew on a beautiful wedding day, it was a pleasure working with you and thanks so much for sharing your day with us!

Today’s beautiful wedding is that of Danielle & David – I love these pictures, the day is full of so much happiness and love, the essence of what weddings are all about.
Danielle and David were married on March 14 at Quaff in Toorak Village.
Their wedding theme was black & white with a touch of pink. Our Butterfly Garden wedding invitations and stationery suited this perfectly and tied in well with Danielle’s butterfly brooch – a gift from her late grandmother – which became a special symbol of the day.

“My Grandmother was so excited her eldest grandchild was getting married, however she was sick with cancer and when I gave her the invite, she asked me to describe my dress. When I mentioned about the brooch, she said that would be my gift for the wedding from her. Unfortunately she passed away a couple of weeks later. So, the celebrant made special mention of that also being a symbol of my wedding, the butterfly and the brooch. And so I had my bonbonierre which was a bottle stopper in the shape of a butterfly and my bubbles had a butterfly on them also.” says Danielle

Danielle’s dress by L’Amour Bridal Boutique had an elegant black sash which her butterfly brooch sat on, and the black halter neck bridesmaids gowns were by Black Rose. The touch of pink was added to the stunning floral bouquets by Say it with Flowers.

The cake – a delicious array of white chocolate cupcakes iced in black and white by Cherrytree were a hit with guests and further complimented the black and white wedding theme.

Photography: Ido Weddings
“I loved the whole day. From getting ready with my bridesmaids at mums, going to the ceremony with Dad in the lovely Bentley, arriving at Quaff, and the anticipation of entering the room to see it filled with people we love and care about and of course seeing my husband to be. And all the speeches were lovely and my MC was a girlfriend’s husband who was absolutely fantastic and had everyone laughing and joining in. And the rest of the evening was just a lovely party with people chatting and dancing all through the night. I almost had to be dragged out to leave but our gift from one of the bridesmaids, a night at The Westin, was definitely worth leaving for and we had a lovely time there.” says Danielle
Congratulations Danielle and David on a truly gorgeous wedding day, thanks so much for sharing with us. xx

I’m in awe at the beauty of these images, they are so romantic and happy, and the richness and warmth of the reception venue is just breathtaking.
Julianne and Mark were married on 31st December last year in the The Chapel of St. Mary and St. George at Guildford Grammar School in Western Australia. Their stunning rose themed reception followed in the The Oak Room at Sandalford Wines in Caversham.
Julianne chose our Rose Tapestry wedding invitations to tie in with the beautiful rose blooms she chose for the day.

Above: The beautiful rose bouquets were created by Eufloria by the beach, shoes from Alannah Hill.

Julianne had a private dressmaker create the gorgeous bridesmaids outfits; the men’s suits by Joseph Anthony Bespoke.

The stunning Oak Room at Sandalford Wines set the scene for a stunning wedding reception.
