I can’t believe how quickly time flies. My youngest daughter turned two on the weekend. We celebrated with a pretty polka dot theme using our new Mademoiselle Polka Dot invitation series which can be found in the weddings section on the Alannah Rose website. For those that didn’t know, any of the designs in our collections, can be altered to suit any occasion – so if you like one of our wedding invitation designs , you can use it for a christening invitation or birthday celebration like we did.

I’ve created a board from Ella’s party below, I hope it helps with some ideas for your next celebration.

Clockwise from top left: Drink Bottles – I bought these pop top water bottles from the supermarket, covered the labels with pretty wrapping paper and hung name tags with ribbon around the neck of each bottle. Each child took one as they walked into the party. Polka Dot Cake – Jodi from Designer Cakes in Donvale made this for me, it was just gorgeous and tasted fabulous too! Mademoiselle Polka Dot invitations in blush from Alannah Rose. Party Bags full of goodies for the kids to take home – Mademoiselle Polk Dot Bon Bon cards from Alannah Rose, bags and ribbons from ACN Packaging . Tissue Paper Pom Poms – I made these myself and hung them from the ceiling above the party table with fishing line – you can find instructions to make these pretty decorations on Martha Stewart .
