Nothing quite says childhood like an old fashioned carousel- our Take Me To The Fair party invitation conjures up thoughts of fairy floss, ferris wheels and all the naughty food you shouldn’t eat but is so wonderful for little eyes to feast upon!

For little girls, keep your colour palette in soft pastel stripes- lots of pinks, lilacs, soft blues and lemon yellows. Serve your favourite old fashioned treats in carnival style containers and decorate with beautifully created musical carousels.

My youngest daughter turns three in a couple of months and up until now I had no idea what to get her. We already have a house full of girl things and things age appropriate for 3 year olds.

Last week I headed off to Magnolia Square tiny and small in search of a 1 year old present which I did find (thanks Little Bubble and Tree and Gertie & Me!) But the icing on the cake was this:

treehouse The Magic Tree! {nostalgia}

The Klorfil Magic Tree by Vulli.
The lovely Cecile from Les Folies was there and they are the Australian Distributor for these little gems.
What’s so fantastic about the tree I hear you ask – well, it’s a bit of nostalgia really – you see these tree’s have been around forever – since I was a child – and I always wanted one, but never had one – and now I’m getting one! Well, um ah, my daughters getting one for her birthday. I know she’ll love it, it even has little birds tweeting.
Enough gush for this post, thank you Vulli for still making the magic tree. xx
