It’s a rare lady that isn’t swayed by the style of a little blue box. Our Tiffany Be Mine Invitation is a nod to our love of all things white and blue. Today I’m inspired by a breakfast celebration to echo the sentiments of a nostalgic era.

We always love to see photos of our Alannah Rose couples! Today we’re sharing the first Alannah Rose wedding of 2011! Lisa and Jack married at the Werribee Mansion and chose the Alannah Rose Fancy Face Invitation in custom Ocean, Ivory and Charcoal. Lisa and Jack carried the fancy swirl theme throughout their wedding day with their monogram also featuring on their service covers, table numbers, seating chart, registry card and RSVP card.

Lisa describes her wedding as “timeless elegance” and the couple married at Melbourne’s elegant Werribee Mansion. The wedding has so many glorious images, we’ll have a second post later today!

There’s nothing quite like fresh blooms for a wedding and our Heavenly Hydrangea invitation is just the ticket for a floral celebration! Soften the black by using lots of different shades of the hydrangea purple, sweet treats and pretty floral details.

I love the bold shades of aqua and emerald in our Emerald Gem invitation. Today’s board centers around that boldness- clean, crisp lines, bold shapes with a very urban feel. Little treats like blue glass jars tied with ribbons and filled with candles add an unexpected softness.

After the news of the royal engagement, we thought we might try our hand (along with the rest of the world) at predicting what Prince William and Kate Middleton’s might be like! Luckily we had our Crown Jewel Invitation ready and waiting!

For Kate & Will, we went for something rather traditional (drawing inspiration from that sapphire engagement ring!) but with a modern twist to reflect the couple’s style.

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and birds tweeting. Today seemed the perfect day to get inspired by our What A Lovely Day Wedding Invitation!

Envisage a garden party, high tea served from tiered stands with pretty china tea cups,  the fresh green grass under bare feet and  pretty spring dresses. A table of sweets all in white and pretty lace parasols shading guests from the warm sunlight. Bouquets of daisies and a mischievous rabbit poking out from behind a tree. A touch of whimsy always goes down a treat at a wedding!

A day in the sunshine, what a lovely day!

I’ve got another beautiful client wedding to share with you today.

Simone and Curtis celebrated their wedding on the 15th August last year – and they were blessed with gorgeous Sydney weather.

Simone and Curtis’s wedding theme was inspired by the beautiful blue stripes in our Chocolate Box Wedding Stationery.

“I fell in love with the invitation design which I thought was both feminine & masculine. It became the starting point for our colour scheme. The location of our reception was surrounded by water (Sydney Harbour & North Sydney Pool) so I thought the blue of the invites would tie in so well”. says Simone

Married at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lavender Bay and followed by a reception at Aqua Dining, Milsons point – Sydney Harbour was at it’s best and the reflection of the water in North Sydney pool made for an amazing backdrop. Photography by Craven Images.

“My favourite part of the day was arriving at the church and seeing the two beautiful boys in my life in their kilts (my husband to be and our baby son Luca)” says Simone.

A beautiful setting and a cheery colour palette was the perfect recipe for a day filled with love and joy. We asked Simone her number one tip for brides:
“Relax and enjoy the whole day – tomorrow comes too soon”.

Congratulations Simone and Curtis
