Alannah Rose {party}- Quack Quack – Little Duck Birthday Theme
categories: alannah rose parties, parties
Well, I’m just recovering from the big weekend we had! My little girl turned 3 on the weekend and we had a little duck theme party to celebrate. She had chosen the Little Duck invitations back in November (yes a long time to wait – we’ve been talking Duck party for months!) so we went for red and white with a touch of yellow, and some duck type decorations as the basis of the party.
Here are some images of how I themed it all in.

Above Clockwise from top left: Little Duck Party Invitations available through our stockists; the birthday girl wearing Polka Dot Duck T-Shirt – Bellflower textiles on Etsy, pettiskirt Kaiya Eve, liberty hair tie Miss Beba; Lasercut Duck cupcake wrappers Pink Frosting, Cupcake Toppers Details Details; Home made duck gingerbread; the room set up; Party food, Duck cake by Designer Cakes, Donvale.

Above Clockwise from top left: Mini Hotdogs from the 4 Ingredients book – super easy and a hit with the kids; Happy Birthday banner by the very talented Mel at Paperklip; Lanterns, find similar in our online party stockists ; blowing out the candles; home made cupcakes, duck icing decorations Sweet Dreams cakes; lolly bags Details Details, Little Duck lolly bag/gift tag coming soon!; Honey Joys, polka dot cupcake wrappers Pink Frosting; Centre: chocolate balls, recipe 4 ingredients, cake topper Details Details;

Above clockwise from top left: The party table; flowers in white pots from Ikea; Drink bottles – wrapped in fabric from spotlight; the Duck cake by Designer Cakes, Donvale; homemade gingerbread ducks in cello bags; Pin the Beak on the Duck – a themed variation on the party classic! – homemade usiing felt from spotlight; the birthday girl loving the duck pinata.
Happy Birthday! xx

Where can I find the four ingredient cookbook or recipe for the mini hot dogs??? I ran across your blog looking for duck cupcakes for my daughters first birthday which I am going with a spring theme (march 20) but now I so want to do all duckies! Everything looked absolutely stunning!!! Please share any recipes you used if you don’t mind! I’m totally new to this whole party thing but so very excited! I’m having more fun planning her birthday than our wedding! Thanks so much!!!
