As promised! More beautiful images from the wedding of Camilla and Mark!

Sails Restaurant, Noosa Heads was the location for the couple’s evening celebration with their guests.

Above: Floral arrangements by A Sculpted Leaf. When we asked Camilla her #1 tip for brides, she said “Don’t bother getting disposable cameras for the tables. Guests will take enough photos for you and they will be much better quality.”

Above: The couple ordered matching table numbers & place cards while Camilla also made a table seating plan, napkin decorations and favor tags to match. “So many people have commented that the wedding was one of the most beautiful they have seen and that the details really made it special. Your amazing stationary made up most of the little details and the fact that it carried on through from the initial invitations to the ceremony and the reception was something many guests commented positively on.”
Alannah Rose also created the matching patterned paper that was incorporated into the delicious cake tiers by Cake Conversations.

Thanks so much Camilla and Mark for sharing your delightful wedding day with us! We are so honoured to have been a part of such a beautiful day xx

Today’s real wedding is the elegant & sophisticated celebration of our beautiful clients Camilla and Mark who married on the 18th of October 2009 in Noosa, Queensland.
The relaxed outdoor feel of Camilla and Mark’s wedding fit right into the Noosa culture- the sun was shining and amidst all of our couple’s special touches, a momentous occasion was celebrated. What fun!
Camilla and Mark chose our Vintage Night invitation in custom latte- they also chose our complimentary stationery suite and used the delicate swirls and soft colours as the basis of their wedding theme! Camilla recounts “Not only did we have Alannah Rose Save The Dates, Invitations, Guest Info Cards, RSVP postcards, Place Cards, Table Names, Order of Service Books and Thank you cards but we incorporated the same colour and design throughout the whole wedding”
There are so many beautiful photos of today’s wedding I can’t fit them into one post!

Above: Our Vintage Night invitation in custom latte to compliment the elegant mood of their wedding. “The stationery had a big part in creating the theme and the style of the wedding. We had the same colours and design through from the Save the Dates to the decor at the ceremony and reception and then the Thank You cards.” says Camilla “The stationery helped create the finer details that made our wedding such a stand out.”
Camilla chose an elegant strapless ball gown from Mariana Hardwick while her bridesmaids wore gowns in shades of white from Ultra Suite.

Above: Our newlyweds were married at Hidden Grove just outside Noosa
“One of my favourite parts of the day was walking through the trees near the beach to a clearing where the ceremony was set up. The area had been decorated beautifully with crystals and ribbons with roses hanging from the trees, the ground was a sea of white rose petals and the anticipation of seeing my husband-to-be was overwhelming. It was surreal like a dream and although I was very emotional the scene before me took my breath away. I cried the whole way down the aisle, my husband shed a few tears watching me and I’m pretty sure all the guests were crying too. It was very heartfelt.” recalls Camilla.
Bella of Bella Designs & Imagery captured the special moments of the wedding day.
The colours of Camilla and Mark were echoed throughout the wedding with Camilla making a welcome board featuring their stationery design and even printing the wedding vows onto matching paper. The couple also ordered co-ordinating order of service books in our Hollywood Glamour design as an added touch.

To be continued…. more of Camilla and Mark’s beautiful Noosa wedding coming this afternoon xx

We’ve always admired the work of Australian couture bridal designer Karen Willis Holmes so we were thrilled today to discover one of our couples, Heather & Jed, had their wedding featured on their blog today!
Heather and Jed married at Broken Head (near Byron Bay) on April 25th this year. The couple were inspired by our Embellish Invitation Suite for their wedding day and for their beachside ceremony used elegant floral arrangements form Beautiflora and shades of blue, green and brown.
Heather looked stunning in the Karen Willis Holmes ‘Sharon’ gown accessorized with a handmade cabbage rose corsage, her bridesmaids wore Harvey & Ella while Jed accessorized his gray suit with a smart green & white striped tie.
The couple celebrated with guests at a nearby beach house feasting on a Moroccan style banquet catered by based Eat Drink Catering.
Congratulations Heather & Jed! You make such beautiful newlyweds and were a joy to work with! x

We were delighted to see one of our Sweet Art couples, Pilar and Oliver have their wedding featured in the latest Real Weddings Style Magazine.
Pilar and Oliver chose our Alannah Rose Le Boutique wedding stationery collection in black and white. The wedding took on a Spanish flair- a nod to Pilar’s heritage and included fun touches like Spanish fans, Spanish style ruffles on Pilar’s gown and even a Spanish mantilla which Pilar had fallen in love with ten years earlier and saved for her special day.

It’s so lovely to share our Alannah Rose real weddings with you!
Today’s is very special- the Queensland wedding of Megan and Mark who chose our Rose Tapestry invitation suite in custom blue. The soft cornflower blue was the perfect fit for the French country style wedding Megan and Mark planned.
When I asked Megan her number one tip for brides she said “Don’t blink on your wedding day – it goes far too quickly! Enjoy every minute of it!”

Above: The couple chose the Alannah Rose Rose Tapestry invitation suite in a custom blue. “The beautiful stationery from Alannah Rose was a big hit! We were so excited when we received our invitations – we were absolutely delighted with them. The matching invitations, service covers, menu covers and place cards really helped to create the theme and mood for the day and we received so many lovely comments on them. A lot of people commented on how they thought they were a lovely mix of classic, yet modern style” says Megan

Above: The country style bouquets were created by Geraldine of Bouquet Boutique in New Farm.

Photographer Cory Rossiter captured the photographs for the day. “We loved the natural look of the photos when we saw them – he really captured the essence and fun of the day. ” Megan remarked.

Stanthorpe Uniting Church was the venue for one of Megan’s lasting wedding day memories “I loved walking back down the aisle of the church to Eva Cassidy’s “At Last” after we were married and greeting all our family and friends. ” All the music on Megan and Mark’s wedding ceremony was performed by family & friends.

Above: Megan and Mark held their reception at Giardino Café. Giardino means “little farm or garden” in Italian and Kristy from the cafe helped style the wedding features. “We discussed with Kristy that we wanted to create a romantic, French country style atmosphere with lots of white flowers in tall vases and candles filling the tables.” says Megan. “She arranged everything and did such a beautiful job. We were absolutely delighted when we walked into the reception – it was so much more lovely than we had even imagined!”.
The beautiful wedding cake made a two hour journey from Toowoomba with it’s creator Robin Friedrichs who made sure the cake arrived intact!

The wedding was filmed by Megan’s uncle “My uncle Brett did the videography of the day for us. We were not going to worry about a video, when my uncle volunteered to do it for us.” says Megan “He did an amazing job and we are so glad to have the video now as a keepsake. It was great fun to be able to see the parts you weren’t there for – e.g. the groomsmen getting ready and then waiting at the church, the music at the church before we arrived etc. It will also be hilarious to watch in 20 years time I’m sure! “

Thanks so much Megan and Mark for sharing your wedding day with us x

The intimate wedding day was loved by guests “We were surprised at how many of our guests commented that they felt so privileged to be a part of the day especially considering it is such an intimate venue and that we only wanted a handful of loved ones there.” Sharon remarks.

“It really is the best day of your life so take your time on the day to just soak it all up and savour the day, and don’t forget that it is the commitment that the two of you are celebrating that is the most important part.”

Today’s beautiful client wedding is of Rachael and Drew. Rachael and Drew were married in Sts Peter & Paul Church in South Melbourne, followed by a reception in the Grand Ballroom at The Royce Hotel, St Kilda Road Melbourne. Rachael and Drew have two gorgeous boys which they involved in the wedding celebrations, take a look at little Jonty on his trike – awww!
Rachael and Drew chose our Latte Lace wedding invitations which fitted well with the art deco style of Rachael’s Gown and the Reception venue.

Above: Rachael’s stunning gown was created by Mariana Hardwick; Hair & Make-up by Lady Belle Rouge “absolutely fantastic girls” says Rachael; Flowers by Function Accessories Brunswick

“My favourite part of the day was the ceremony.” says Rachael “We live together with our two boys, so we had our 4 year old ride his trike down the aisle first with the ring cushion in the back tray, (definitely an awww moment for our friends, and a teary one for our parents!) then Drew walked down, and I followed holding Benjamin’s (17 months old) hand. It was beautiful.”

“Fr Bob did a great service and had most people laughing and feeling at ease. It was a real family ceremony in that the boys did what they had to do on the official side then they were free to walk around during the service. It was very relaxed and made the guests feel relaxed too. We arrived early and had to wait on the road outside the Church to allow everyone to go in. Even when we got out and were assembling at the entrance, guests were still arriving behind us. The weather was a perfect 20 degrees.” says Rachael

“We put aside the old tradition on not seeing each other before the ceremony and stayed the night before in our suite at the hotel. We had a lovely quiet dinner together in a little restaurant down the road, got to bed early and had a good night sleep. We got dressed together and had fun with it. It really relaxed us. We loved that we got that extra time (in the morning and before the ceremony) by ourselves together, it was our day and we got to enjoy a lot of time to ourselves to soak that up. We also got to have our photos together before the wedding instead of after the ceremony, to allow us extra time to sit in our suite before the reception to gather & refresh ourselves.”

The wedding photos were taken by Boxer Wedding Photography, locations included the suite at the Royce, the Victoria Barracks on St Kilda Road and at the Church.

Another beautiful black and white themed wedding for you today, also using our gorgeous Hollywood Nights vintage wedding invitations.
Kelly and Nico were married in Noosa on Friday 24th April 2009. Having lived in Switzerland for the last few years, Kelly wanted to travel home to be married. The elegant setting of The Plantation in Cooroy, Queensland was chosen to celebrate their nuptials. Kelly’s father had been restoring a vintage car and the 1924 Delage became the inspiration behind the sophisticated vintage theme of their wedding day.

Kelly’s stunning gown by internationally revered hollywood designer Jenny Packham, was embellished with intricate beading and was accessorised with a soft floral bouquet by Liz at A Sculpted Leaf.

Above: Arriving in style – Kelly’s fathers 1924 Delage set the theme for the day
“My father and his friend had spent five years restoring this beautiful automobile so being driven to the ceremony in it was a special part of my day,” says Kelly.

The Catholic ceremony took place in a very private area close to Noosa Beach. The ceremony was witnessed by 50 of their closest family and friends from both Europe and Australia.
“We decided on Noosa for our wedding destination, not only because we love the area, but we also thought it was the most amazing location to really ‘show off’ Australia to our overseas family and friends.” says Kelly

The beautiful gardens of The Plantation, set the scene for the exquisite reception. Long reception tables were decorated with vintage style roses in soft pinks and a soft romantic setting was achieved with the help of a beautiful marquee. The beautiful wedding cake was created by Cake Conversations.

The beaches of Noosa provided the backdrop for their wedding photography by Jodi Mc Donald.

Twelve months on, Kelly & Nico now have a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations Kelly & Nico and thanks so much for sharing your day with us! x
