Little boys love scary things, things like spiders, slugs, snails… eek!
That’s why they’ll love our new Spooky Spider Party invitations.

Creating a spooky spider party theme is easy – use red, black and brown as your colour palette, and think of things that are icky! Red snakes, chocolate frogs, green slime (jelly), decorate with cobwebs (sourced from costume shops), red and black balloons or lanterns (like the one’s pictured below), hang fake spiders from the ceiling using fishing line, the list goes on!

The gorgeous new Wedding Style Guide magazine just hit the shelves and we’re thrilled our new Botanica Belle design has been featured. This design will be online soon, but you can order it now, just email me for details. Hurrah! Our new boxed children’s party invitation range has finally arrived!

I’m so excited today as I can finally give you a sneak peak of our gorgeous new range of boxed party invitations! Launching in March through selected retailers, the range consists of 20 delicious designs suitable for children’s parties, christenings, baby showers and celebrations.

We’ll be unveiling the full range in March, but for now here is a sneak peak of the photoshoot we did with the very talented Pru at Little Bird Photography.

The styling was done by the talented Prue of Gigi&Lulu who is a dear friend and creative wonder.

We used some gorgeous products for the shoot and I’ll be unveiling some more images in the coming weeks and how to create the look for your next party.

Here’s a sneak peak from our upcoming valentines collection – this ornate heart wedding invitation ‘Hearts a Flutter’ comes standard in red and white, but available in lots of other gorgeous colours from our chart.

So you like an Alannah Rose design but the colour doesn’t fit with your theme? No problem! With our new colour choices you can select a design, select a colour and away we go! Details on pricing and ordering can be found on site here.

I’ve long been a fan of Pru’s work (Mama Bird!), she has a knack for working with children and for creating images that are out of the ordinary.

If you have a sitting booked with Little Bird Photography and are booking your keepsake or birthday cards through us, please chat to Pru about including a digital negative in your package – she is only too happy to work with us to create amazing memories!

I love peacocks, they are such a magnificent bird. The colours, the patterns, the shapes and the grace – mother nature is truly a talented designer!
This Peacock Parade wedding invitation will be available soon in the Alannah Rose boutique with our new Spring/Summer collection, but thought I’d share a sneak peak of it here.

There are so many fabulous ways you can theme peacocks into your wedding day, you can go completely over the top, or just introduce subtle hints through accessories and details. Below are a few items that I’ve found that could work beautifully with our Peacock Parade theme.

We’ve been a busy little studio this month! We are working on lots of new wedding invitation designs at the moment, so keep watch on the site, we’ll be uploading them in the coming weeks.
For now here is a sneak preview of the coming collection.

We’ve been doing seating charts for a while now, but just have not had the time to add them to the site, so I thought I’d post a couple of the recent ones we’ve done. They can be done to match any of the wedding invitation designs in store to compliment your theme. An A1 size poster on high quality poster stock is $180 plus gst. Please contact me if you are interested in ordering one of these. We are hoping to start adding them to the site in the coming weeks.
